Guidelines For Pledge Group
A girl must
be recommended by any Pledge, Rainbow Girl or Grand Cross of Color
member or Majority Member and must have the approval of a member of the
Masonic Lodge, Order Eastern Star Chapter, Amaranth or White Shrine of
Jerusalem member.
There
are No
initiation fees or dues
The Pledge
Group should have a Pledge Mother who should be a Grand Cross of Color
member and should be a member of the Advisory Board. If a Master
of the Grand Cross of Color is unavailable, the Pledge Mother may be an
older Rainbow Girl or an Adult. If the Pledge Mother is not a
Grand Cross Master, a member of the Advisory Board should be appointed
as Associate Pledge Mother to advise the Pledge Mother.
The
Pledge Ritual gives the
nine officers and the
symbols of each office.
Pledge Groups don’t have fund raisers or
dues. They are supported by their sponsoring body!
The Pledge Group should meet at least once a month.
The
Pledge Group will be instituted just as a Rainbow Assembly and it will
receive a Certificate of Organization which is their Charter.
Pledges
wear short dresses of any color to their meetings. They DO NOT
wear formals.

is given in the "Instructions" of the Pledge Ritual.

you are a girl 8, 9 or 10 years of age or know a girl interested in
joining a Rainbow Assembly Pledge Group, contact the Mother Advisor,
Grand Deputy or any Rainbow Girl who will be glad to talk with you and
assist you in locating a Pledge Assembly and becoming a Rainbow Pledge
member.
